Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
As the seasons change and the holidays approach, this time of year can be difficult for many.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is real. And so are the feelings of loneliness, anxiety, grief, and uncertainty that sometimes accompany the holidays.
For some, it’s the thought of an empty seat at the table. For others, it’s strained relationships, broken connections, or simply wondering where they belong.
But here’s what I want to encourage you to do: Don’t allow this season to convince you that you have to do life alone.
Be intentional about connection. Reach out. Accept an invitation. Create an opportunity to fellowship. And prayerfully ask God to connect you with people who will bring encouragement, peace, and genuine community into your life.
And if you’re struggling emotionally, don’t be afraid to seek the support you need. Prayer, meaningful relationships, and professional care can all have a place in your healing.
You may not be able to control how this season makes you feel, but you can take intentional steps to care for yourself as you move through it.
Don’t wait for someone to notice your absence before you recognize your need for connection.
You matter. Your presence matters. And you don’t have to navigate this season alone.
Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow.
