Psalm 46:10

Sometimes you can walk into a room you chose to enter and immediately start questioning whether you belong there.

What am I doing here?

Maybe this isn’t my space.

Maybe I should just leave.

But don’t confuse unfamiliar with unassigned.

Every room God allows you to enter won’t immediately feel comfortable. Sometimes you have to stay long enough to understand why you’re there.

Stay present.

Stay open.

Listen.

Engage.

Give yourself permission to simply be in the room. There may be a connection you need to make, something you need to learn, something you need to contribute—or something God wants you to see. Had you left when you first felt uncomfortable, you might have left before discovering the purpose of being there.

You don’t always have to know exactly where you fit before you allow yourself to experience the space.

Sometimes you just have to stay in the room long enough for the “why” to reveal itself.

Psalm 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am God.
