Steal Away

Luke 5:16
Sometimes you just need to steal away.
Away from the noise.
Away from the demands.
Away from the distractions.
And simply sit in the presence of the Lord.
There’s healing there.
There’s release there.
There’s power there.
There’s safety there.
But if we’re honest, sometimes we avoid the quiet. It feels boring. Uncomfortable. And sometimes we’re afraid of what God might reveal when there’s nothing left to distract us.
But everything God wants to do in you won’t happen in the midst of the noise.
Some things require stillness. Some things require surrender. And some things require you to stop talking long enough to listen.
You don’t always need another conversation, another activity, or another distraction.
Sometimes you just need to get somewhere and be still.
Even if it’s uncomfortable. Even if you don’t know what to expect.
Steal away. There’s something waiting for you in His presence.
Luke 5:16 - And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
