Maybe It’s Time to Be Quiet

Ecclesiastes 3:7
Sometimes you just don’t have anything to say.
No profound thought.
No great revelation to share.
No words for what you’re feeling or experiencing.
And that is okay.
Silence doesn’t mean you’ve lost your voice. It doesn’t mean you’re no longer gifted, equipped, powerful, or anointed.
Maybe this just isn’t your time to speak.
Maybe it’s your time to listen. To internalize. To process. To rest. To allow God to continue pouring into you without immediately feeling the need to pour it back out.
We live in a world that constantly encourages us to have something to say. But there is also wisdom in knowing when not to speak.
Everything God gives you doesn’t have to be immediately shared. Some things need time to sit with you. Some things need time to grow in you. And some moments are simply meant JUST FOR YOU.
Silence can be rest.
Silence can be preparation.
And yes, sometimes silence can be obedience.
You don’t always have to fill the quiet. Sometimes you just need to let God meet you there.
Ecclesiastes 3:7 - A time to keep silent, and a time to speak.
