When Your Name Comes Up

2 Timothy 4:2

Last night, I had the opportunity to minister in a place I’d never been, among people I didn’t know, with no expectations other than to show up and do what God called me to do.

And what a beautiful reminder it was that God’s presence isn’t limited by the place, the people, or the presentation.

Sometimes we pray for opportunities, open doors, and greater assignments, but we have no idea how, when, or where God will answer.

And here’s the thing: When your name comes up, you have to be ready to GO!

Not just when it’s familiar.

Not just when it’s convenient.

Not just when it looks like what you imagined.

We can’t ask God to use us and then try to dictate what that looks like!

So keep preparing. Keep praying. Keep showing up. And don’t overlook the opportunities that don’t come packaged the way you expected.

When God says it’s your time, trust Him enough to move!
